For many people, Formnext may immediately bring Frankfurt, Germany to mind. But did you know that Formnext Asia Shenzhen also exists?
The number of exhibitors increased from 265 last year to 330 in 2026. This year, the event is also expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors over three days, showing how rapidly AM-based manufacturing is expanding across Asia.
Boolean attends Formnext Frankfurt every year, but we also follow Formnext Asia with the same level of focus, tracking AM developments across the region in person.
Over the next few posts, we will introduce several exhibitors that stood out to us at this year’s Shenzhen show.
Hanevex (青岛瀚海常青科技有限公司)

In general, FGF is excellent for building large structures quickly, but surface quality and fine detail are usually a tradeoff.
However, Hanevex’s solution rewrites that assumption.
In the 800 mm-wide ABS part displayed at the show, ribs, bosses, and thin-wall features were clearly reproduced, while the overall surface quality was maintained at a level almost comparable to FFF.
The nozzle diameter ranges from 0.15 mm to 1.0 mm, clearly indicating that the system is designed to achieve a level of precision close to FFF.
Hanevex also offers machines with nozzle temperatures of up to 550°C and heated chambers that can be set up to 300°C. This makes it possible to print large parts using engineering plastics such as PEEK, while significantly reducing warping.
The price range sits in the low-to-middle segment, while the machines can use a wide range of pellet materials, including molding-grade pellets. This means they may have potential not only for prototyping, but also for small-batch production.
Boolean continuously researches AM developments across Asia and works directly with many manufacturers in the region.
Please feel free to reach out if you would like to know more.
