Cellulose acetate stool
For an outdoor relaxation area at the sauna facility of Mifuneyama Rakuen Hotel in Saga, Boolean produced a 3D-printed stool made from cellulose acetate.
The material was selected for its high biodegradability and transparency. Its clear, glossy surface reflects the surrounding light and landscape, allowing the stool to blend naturally into the space. By adjusting the material properties and printing conditions, the project balances the desired transparency and finish with the quality required for practical use.
